KABALE DIOCESE LAUCHES A DIOCESAN YOUTH SACCO.

The state Minister for Finance and General Duties Hon. Musasizi Ariganyira asked the youth to engage themselves in church and government programs such as Parish Development Model and Saccos that are being brought by the church.
Minister Musasizi said this while delivering his speech as a chief guest at the launch of a diocesan youth sacco at Kabale diocese headquarters in southern division, Kabale municipality.
He contributed Ugx 5 million to the Sacco and promised to submit the request of other funds to the office of the president yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
Meanwhile, the vicar Kabale diocese Fr. Msgr Dr John Vianney Sunday emphasized the youth to always conduct prayers in whatever they do and to embrace values of Catholic Church faith.
The Kabale diocese youth coordinator, Felix Abaho revealed that their mission of holding a 3-day conference was to teach the young generation on spiritual values and developmental issues so that they develop through their efforts again.
Francis Mugisha, male youth representative in the diocese in an interview with our reporter revealed that they have gained skills of conducting self-prayers and learnt how they can make their own project to boost earnings without begging from political leaders.
Kebirungi Suzan, a female representative revealed that some girls are being neglected by their parents who believe that educating the girl child is a waste of resources.
She said the conference has skilled them with communication techniques they will use to convince such parents. she added that the launched Sacco shall help them in starting their own projects.
However, the diocesan youth sacco has been established purposely to support the youth from Kigezi subregion financially by providing loans at a simple interest.
