KABALE: IMPOUNDED BUS PROCEEDS TO KISORO, CONGOLESE PASSENGERS TO REMAIN IN UGANDA

The Horizon Bus that was intercepted in Kabale Town with 47 passengers has been granted permission to proceed to Kisoro.
All the passengers in the bus were tested using infra red thermometer, and their temperatures were all normal.
Bus registration number UAM 896H was held a day after the president announced halting of all public transport in the country as a preventive measure against the spread of the deadly pandemic that has currently ravaged Europe and the United States of America.
However, the 23 Congolese, who were in the bus will stay in Uganda until the pandemic is defeated.
The Congolese, who have been in Uganda for some time will stay in Kisoro District till the virus is controlled.
Elly Maate, the Kigezi Regional Police spokesperson speaking to our reporter said the district task force after consultations with other stakeholders at the national level resolved to free the bus to continue to her destination in Kisoro since all the passengers tested Normal.
Worldwide, the number of cases has reached more than 597,000, of which more than 131,000 people have recovered.
