Hilder Atukunda, a business woman and resident of Kanyankriro cell in central division in Kabale municipality alleges that Safari used to buy drinks for his supporters since December last year to February worth shillings 180000 and promised to clear within few weeks.
According to Hilder, the accused councilor has failed to pay even a single coin in addition to dodging LC1 court of Kanyakiriro village three times when invited.

Our reporter has seen a letter by The Kanyakiro Village Chairperson Charles Bisaati dated march 09th, 2021 addressed to Safari asking him to offset the debt in full to enable the business woman take care of his family or face LC11 court.
Safari told our reporter in a phone interview that the above allegations are baseless and are intended to defame his name urging that they are planning to stop him from swearing in.
When our reporter pressed him harder, Safari added that he received letters from LC1 Kanyanyikiro village to appear on local council court but didn’t make it after realizing that it’s intended to sabotage him.
