KABALE MAN CUTS OFF WIFE’S EARS

Police in Kabale district are hunting for a 42 year old man for cutting off ears of his wife.
According to the Kigezi region Police spokesperson Elly Maate the incident occurred today at
around midday when Dianah Ninsiima a 20 year old woman develop disareements with her husband
Gerald Twesigomwe.

The two are residents of Kakaabano cell, upper Bugongi in Kabale municipality. Ninsiima
told him that she wants to go to a conference at Tarbanacal church
Bugongi and her husband refused.

Out of the exchange of words Twesigome locked the woman inside and chops
tied her and cut her ears off, during the cutoff the woman made
an alarm and was rescued and rushed to Kabale referral hospital where she
is nursing injuries.

Maate condemned the incident in the strongest manner saying that the
man who could be protecting his wife to find him cutting off her ears.
he added that they should have used relevant offices to sort out their grievances,
police is hunting for the suspect after he is arrested he will be taken to
court.
