KABALE: MITOOMA ARRESTED WARAGI TRADERS CHARGED WITH DISOBEDIENCE OF LAWFUL ORDERS

In Kabale–
The three suspects who were on 6th May 2020 arrested in Kabale carrying waragi to Rwanda yesterday appeared before court and were remanded to Rubanda government prison.
The three; Obed Kabegambire, Gerivazi Nturanabo and Habert Musinguzi were charged with disobedience of lawful orders and doing an act likely to spread infectious diseases.
His worship Julius Burore the Kabale chief magistrate remanded the three until 04/06/2020 when they will appear for mention.
Police in Kabale on 06 May 2020 morning arrested the three residents of Kabale II village Karimbe parish Mitooma district who were carrying 24 jericans full of local brew (waragi) to Rwanda
The three were traveling from Mitooma district to Kabale and were intercepted at Kaharo road block.
They were riding motorcycles with registration numbers UFA 044N, UEL 210G and UES 051P all bajaj boxer.
