FDC ON FIRE IN KABALE,SECRETARY GENERAL REFUSES TO HAND OVER

The Kabale District Secretary General for the Forum for Democratic Change-FDC party Bonny Tumuranze has refused to hand over the party computer and chairs.

The Forum for Democratic Change-FDC party leaders had organized a meeting for the handover of Tumuranze and to conduct an election of new Secretary General after Tumuranze presented a resignation letter, telling them that he has joined the New Formation that was formed by Gen. Mugisha Muntu.

The leaders led by the Kabale District Forum for Democratic Change-FDC party Chairperson Lydia Turyahumura, the Forum for Democratic Change-FDC party Secretary General in charge of Ndorwa East County Jacenta Tinzarwa requested him to go back and prepare all the office equipments that he received in his term of office.

However, Tumuranze denied having received a computer and chairs admitting that he was only given a stamp by the time he took over office in 2017.

The Forum for Democratic Change Deputy National Secretary General in Charge of Policy and Research Dr. Joseph Tindyebwa said that Tumuranzes leaving the party will not affect the progress of the party.

The Kabale District Forum for Democratic Change party Chairperson Lydia Turyahumura said that they have formed a team of three leaders tofollw this issue and to make sure that Tumuranze hands over all the property that he received in his term of office.
