The Kabale Resident District Commissioner, Darius Nandinda has ordered for the re-arrest of Edward Milo commonly known proprietor of City celeb sounds .
Edward was arrested on 19th April 2020 for allegedly stealing computers of National Water And Sewage Corporation Kabale branch .
He was intercepted in Kabale municipality at Garage street after a sniffer dog led Police to business where he was selling hoofers.
He was charged with theft and office breaking under police file vide SD/31/19/04/2020.
He pleaded for leniency and promised to change, but his pleas fell on deaf ears since the public say it puts them at high risk.
Edward had been accused of conning people with different items in town allover the country while selling them at cheaper prices.
However, the RDC says the suspect should not be bailed though it’s his right to be granted police bond.
Nandinda adds that the suspect was found with five range rovers with out number plates and master keys which he uses to open pad locks and steal.
He directed the Kabale district police commander Brain Ampeire to re-arrest him, be taken to court and if found guilty be remanded at Ndorwa prison.
But the RDC maintains that the suspect must be rearrested to face the law and officers involved in his release should also be held liable since the man is known as professional thief by the public.
The Kabale District Police Commander, Brain Ampere says that he is going to deploy police officers to hunt for him and re-arrest him immediately.
He added that the suspect’s vehicles were impounded at Kabale police station and investigations are under way.
