KABALE UNIVERSITY SET TO PLAY WITH UNIVERSITY OF KISUBI IN PEPSI COMPETITIONS

Kabale university football team set to smash University of Kisubi in their tomorrow’s first game of the group in Pepsi University Football League 2023 competitions.
This was vowed yesterday evening of 14th Sept 2023, in a special briefing of the university football team that was held at the campus headquarters located in southern division, Kabale municipality.
While addressing the players, chairperson for sports union at the university Mr Isaac Tumwesigye explained that among 49 footballers who were registered at the school team, they managed to select inn the best 25 players whom they believe that they shall deliver the best results and of whom they have spent a year doing daily trainings and having several trainings meanwhile preparing themselves upon this tournament. He went on saying that so far they don’t have any injury cases which shows that tomorrow they will be fully available for the match.
Turyasingura Manisuri, the university captain talking with our reporter said they are prepared enough for this game and has promised the university community and fans that tomorrow they shall deliver positive results.
Nsubuga Farouk the kabale university head coach told www.mknewslink.com reporter that the team has been well facilitated by the university and the good chance they have of an unbeaten run at their home ground.
The Guild speaker Atusingwize Prize Priannah, the assistant sports Officer Byakatonda Milton, Minister of internal Affairs Mr Tukamushaba Selestine who represented the university Guild president and the Assistant University Counsellor Musinguzi Sayuni they said they believe in their strong team and are hoping to win tomorrow’s game and have promised to always sport the team were necessary.
The director of Macro Hard ware Mugume Joram who was the Chief Guest has requested players to be committed, disciplined and asked to avoid other obstacles such as women, alcohol and among others that may divert their focus from their talents.
He has donated 10 foot balls a set of Bibs, 2 football boots, Corns and 100,000Ugx to the head coach and also promised to always award the man of the match with 100,000Ugx
Kabale University was scheduled in Group A of Pepsi University Football League 2023 with other three universities including Uganda Martyrs University, University of Kisubi and Bugema University both universities shall be meeting both home and away and the best two from the group will be qualifying to another level.
This match will be held at Kabale University playground at 1500hours.
