KABALE YOUTH DELEGATES STORM NRM OFFICES WITH FIREWOOD, PETROL DEMANDING FOR THEIR ALLOWANCES

Kabale youth delegates have stormed the district NRM office with firewood and petrol demanding for their allowances for the last concluded elections of NRM Western Region Youth parliamentary candidate.
According to the National Resistance Movement secretariat, every delegate is designated with 340000 ug shs for transport allowances on voting day.
Jane Ampurira, one of the affected delegates said that she wants the district party leaders to intervene before things worse because the allowances was meant for transport adding that she is not sure of how she will go back home after spending almost two days in town.
George Saturday Kakwenza, the Kabale District Male Youth Chairperson faulted Kabale district NRM top leaders for declining to share with delegates a detailed report on why their allowances were not distributed.
Bwensi Pamella, the vice chairperson NRM league, called upon the district NRM chairperson minister David Bahati to mentor his employers on how to handle other party members.
Maurice Mugenga Keitaba, the Kabale district NRM registrar could not be reached by our reporter because his known phone numbers were busy.
On Saturday the same delegates shunned the primary election for the National Resistance Movement-NRM Western Region Youth parliamentary candidate citing gross irregularities after 5 of the delegates’ names did not appear in the register.
