KABAROLE ARMY VETERAN IN FEAR ,ATTACKED BY ARMED MEN

The chairpersonof the Rwenzori Kateebwa War Veterans Association John Kinuge was on Friday night attacked by unknown gunmen
Kinuge narrated that the assailants raided his home in Nyango village, Bukuuku Sub County, Kabarole districtat around 10:00pm.
He added that his children were shocked when they found an armed person with the mask on the face standing beside his parked car.
He revealed that some of thelocalsin theneighbourhoodtold us they saw two motorcycles with two men dressed in army attire in the area.
Kinuge said that he immediatelynotifiedJorum Sabiiti the GISO Bukuku sub county who also alerted security officials at the district.
Earlier, he said that he has been receiving threatening messages from theexecutive committeemembers demanding for his exit.
On 23rdOctober 2018, the minister of state in charge of Luwero triangle Denis Galabuzi Ssozi visited Kabarole and held a meeting with the association members and thereafter suspended Kinuge from being chairperson of the association.
The minister also ordered him to leave office of the Rwenzori Veterans Brick making Project located in Kitarasa Kicwamba Sub County withimmediateeffect for allegedly mismanaging the associations funds.
His suspension followed numerous complaints by the members to the minister implicating him in gross misappropriation of funds and bad reign that had left them in diminishing returns.
