Patrick Ruranganwa the LCII Nyakitonzi parish Bukuku Sub County has lashed out at civil servants who are fond of stealing the Parish Common unity Association fund (PCA).
Speaking to www.mknewslink.com Ruranganwa said that some of the parish chiefs are deducting the PCA money that is meant to benefit some of local groups in sub counties.
He said that whenever the money comes, they first deduct some money claiming that they are also part of the beneficiaries citing at their parish chief who deducted 2M shillings from the 30M shillings that was given to the local groups in their area from the office of the prime minster in abide to eradicate poverty among the people.
Meanwhile there has been rumors that some CDOs and sub county chiefs demand money from youths who apply for youth livelihood money and if not they are removed from the list of applied associations.
However, early this year the Burahya Mp Margret Muhanga Mugisa and woman Mp Kabarole Sylvia Rwabwogo brought this money in several sub counties of Kabarole to some groups.
Muhanga said that she was disappointed by some of the chiefs that have deducted people’s money saying that by all means they will have to return.
Our efforts to get the alleged parish chief were futile as they were not in their offices.
