In Kabarole—
Kabarole Resident District Commissioner Sarah Ayesiga has ordered for the arrest of two heads of department for allegedly sabotaging government programs which resulted into poor service delivery.
The accused are John Kabango the head of Trade and Commerce plus Dr. Selevatory Abigaba the head of Production.
Trouble ensued when the district speaker Timothy Ruhweza who was chairing a District 2022-23 Budget Preparatory Conference asked the two departmental heads to present what they plan to do in the next final year but they couldn’t be traced.
The speaker suspended the presentation following their absence and yet they were crucial.
According to the RDC, this kind of recklessness will not be tolerated and as government they will not tolerate technical staff that sabotage service delivery.
She directed the CAO Kabarole to prevail over and the accused technical staff explain in writing why they are always absent.
Earlier in his opening remarks the District chairman Richard Rwabuhinga had decried the absence of HoDs in sectorial committees and late coming of the heads of department for the budget conference.
