KAJWENGYE PULLS OUT OF NYABUSHOZI PARLIAMENTARY RACE ON VOTING DAY

The National Resistance Movement (NRM) primaries that had been slated for today Oct,6th,2020 in 25 villages of Nyabushozi, Kiruhura district have been called off after one of the candidates Wilson Kajwengye pulled out of the race without revealing his next step.
Kajwengye who is the petitioner cited failure to adhere to the National party chairman Y. K Museveni’s advice to have new electoral registrars among other issues.
Kiruhura district NRM registrar Mr.Agom David Andinda said the party electoral commission chairman Dr.Tanga Odoi instructed the incumbent legislator Col(Rtd).Fred Mwesigye to report to party headquarters in Kampala with many anticipating that he will be handed the party flag as the NRM parliamentary flag bearer for Nyabushozi county.
Meanwhile, there is heavy deployment in Bukanga county Isingiro district where 28 villages will repeat the NRM primaries slated for tomorrow.
