KAMWENGE DISTRICT CHAIRMAN WARNS HEALTH WORKERS

The chairperson LC5 Kamwenge district Mr.Natuhamya Aggrey has warned health workers against absenteeism and abscondment

His comments follow his abrupt visit to Kamwenge health centre 3 among other health enters where he found health workers absent while others had absconded from duty which is against health act.

During an interview with www.mknewslink.com reporter yesterday, Aggrey noted that during his abrupt visit twice at Kamwenge health centre 3, he found patients stuck without health workers which he said is unprofessional.

He threatened to take action against such health workers if they don’t change noting that this has tempered with the rights of the patients.

Aggrey added that he has already summoned the district health officer to his office over such matters.

However the District health officer Dr.Mucunguzi William was not in office by press time
