KANUNGU GIRL KILLS HER SISTER OVER MAN

Police in Kanungu district are hunting for Evelyn Niwamanya on
allegations of stabbing her own sister Gift Asiimwe.

The two are residents of Rutwe cell in Kanyantorogo Sub County.

Paddy Tumwendeze Rwozi, the Officer in Charge of Criminal
Investigations Department at Kihihi police station, says Niwamanya
stabbed her own sister accusing her having love affair with her husband Gideon
Natukunda.

Gift Asiimwe was working at a mobile money centre in Kanyantorogo
trading center.
It is alleged that Niwamanya attacked and stabbed her sister on the
neck  this week.

Asiimwe breathed her last on the way to Bwindi Community hospital in
Kayonza Sub County.

Paddy Tumwendeze Rwozi, the Officer in Charge of Criminal
Investigations Department at Kihihi police station, says they have
started investigations into the incident.

“as we hunt for the suspect we are also investigating the actual cause
of this shameful incident” he said.
