The leader of aggrieved Christians of Ankole diocese has regarded claims by the chancellor of west Ankole diocese that he will defeat him hands down when court comes as baseless and misguided.
” Counsel Marvin Baryaruha should stop his arrogance that he will defeat me in court,” Mr. Karasi told MKnewslink.com managing editor in an interview yesterday 24th May, 2022.
On 19th May 2022, Karasi’s lawyers of Tumwebaze, Atugonza, Kobusingye advocates served West Ankole diocese with an intention to sue over creation of illegal chapters in Kampala and Mbarara which are not in the constitution of West Ankole diocese.
Karasi later added that these chapters were allowed to vote for head of laity and other activities of the church which is against the constitution of West Ankole diocese.
Mr. Karasi gave West Ankole a 14 day ultimatum to solve the irregularities raised in the letter that emanates from the 11th synod that was recently constituted.
After the synod that sat at Bweranyangyi on 20th May 2022, Marvin addressed a press conference and said that he was going to defeat Karasi hands down in court but Karasi says that was arrogance and he isn’t a judge, he should wait for court to decide.
