The leader of aggrieved Christians of West Ankole diocese Emmanuel Karasi has revealed that he has not been compromised by the diocesan leaders to abandon the case but only he is preparing very well to file a good case.
Karasi said this in an exclusive interview with www.mknewslink.com on why he has delayed to file the case
“Am not hungry for money what I want is justice, those who say I was bought are just cowards,” Karasi told www.mknewslink.com.
Karasi’s lawyers served West Ankole diocese with intention to sue but the diocese did not respond with in the given time.
The dissatisfaction of Christians came as a result of what they term as illegal synod which was constituted in March 2022.
In the same synod, Kampala and Mbarara chapters were allowed to vote which is against the constitution of West Ankole diocese.
The appointment of the chancellor was also illegal since he was nominated by Anthony Katwarana a synod member instead of Bishop Johnson Twinomujuni.
After the above were committed, Christians led by Karasi ran to the archbishop of Uganda Stephen Kazimba Mugalu but never got convincing answers thus decided to go to court.
