KASESE SPLIT DIVIDES RESIDENTS

Kasese district have petitioned their members of parliament to pronounce themselves about the allegations of splitting the district into three districts.

Residents said their concerns to Bukonzo East MP Tony Harold Muhindo at Kayembe trading center in Mahanga Sub County yesterday where they requested him to call for the district dialogue to harmonize the issues that may have led to the thoughts of splitting the district.

Residents want all the district leaders to have a common stand before the split cause security turmoil in the region.

Busongora North MP, Hon. William Nzoghu said six kasese Member of Parliament will ensure that the district remains peaceful as they defend the split of their district aiming at creating divisions in the region.

Rwenzururu king Charles Wesley Mumbere Iremangoma urged his subjects to focus on developmental issues in their families and stop in engaging in empty talk.
