KAZO DISTRICT HEADQUARTERS CLOSED AFTER 12 STAFF TEST POSITIVE FOR COVID 19

Authorities in Kazo have closed the district headquarters after 12 staff tested positive to COVID 19.

According to Ruth Sabiti Kashaka the Kazo Resident District Commissioner, they have registered 12 cases at the district in two consecutive days which prompted them to close for three days to allow fumigation of the offices.

The president’s representative noted that only the heads of departments are allowed to access the district premises.

Kashaka told www.mknewslink.com that Monday next week, all district workers must first test before they enter into the district headquarters.

She further called upon the general public to remain calm and vigilant as they observe the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
