Drivers in Kigezi have
been warned on misconduct and breaking of traffic Rules.
Elly Matte the Kigezi region Police spokesperson revealed this on wednesday
while addressing a press conference at Kigezi regional central police station.
He noted that drivers have a tendency of shunning away from the traffic rules and regulations for instance overloading of passengers, refusal of putting on seat-belts among others and thus this has resulted into many accidents.
He further noted that most accidents are caused by reckless drink-driving and talking on phones while driving which he described as being selfish to one’s life and the lives of the passengers.
Matte also warned the public on the increasing cases of house burglary most especially during this Christmas season.
