KIGEZI POLICE PRO ELLY MAATE, RDC SEKANDI RECOGNIZED AS CHAMPIONS IN FIGHTING CORRUPTION

Yesterday 20th Dec.2021 Hajji Shafiq Sekandi RDC Kanungu and Elly Matte Police Public Relations Officer Kigezi Regional were awarded with integrity Champions award at Sheraton Hotel Kampala.

Kick corruption out of Uganda (KICK-U) in partnership with Action Aid International -Uganda (AAI-U) under the theme ‘Promoting Active Citizen Participation in social Accountability’ selected Hajji Shafiq and Elly Matte as the most loyal and committed Public servants in the fight against corruption in Kigezi region.

The two servants with a smile joined other selected servants all over the Country to receive their awards.

According to a statement from Action Aid International, the awards are given to royal and committed public servants from all over the country who put in energy to fight corruption and present accountability.
