KIKORONGO ACCIDENT: NO ONE DEAD, ONLY MINOR INJURIES

The manager link bus Kasese district James Businge has denied allegations that some people perished in yesyerday’s morning link bus accident.

According to Businge passengers sustained minor injuries and were rushed to Kilembe hospital and Kagando hospital.

Yesterday unconfirmed information had circulated that 21 people had perished in a link bus that occurred at Kikorongo along Kasese Mbarara highway.

The bus belonging to the Link Coaches Company, which was speeding according to eyewitnesses, failed to negotiate a sharp bend.

The bus was traveling from Bwera heading to Kampala with about 65 people on board.

It overturned and landed on its back on the roadside which is under construction.
