KILLERS OF KABALE EC POLICE OFFICER TO BE TRIED BEFORE COURT MARTIAL IN MBARARA

In Kabale—

The killers of Kabale electoral commission guard has been transferred to Mbarara 2nd division UPDF headquarters to appear before court martial as it’s stipulated in Uganda’s constitution.

The killers identified as Paul Dusingizimana alias Never give up and Mugisha Asiimwe Mukwenda alias Young killed Spc Baryabakabo Galacius who was guarding EC Kabale offices in the night of 27/01/2021.

On 31Jan 2021, the suspects were picked from their hideouts in Nyabaikoni ward southern division Kabale municipality with the stolen gun number (UG.POL 56_5824456)

Now according to Kigezi region police spokesperson Elly Matte the Regional CID SP Kule Yona together with the district team Kabale yesterday afternoon transported them to Mbarara for further management after the completion of inquiries.

Matte adds that the day of court will be communicated very soon 

Murder case was registered at kabale central police station under file number CRB 111/2021
