Kim Kardashian is shedding new light into her meeting with President Donald Trump.
While speaking with Van Jones in an interview that aired Thursday evening on CNN Tonight With Don Lemon, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star revealed what happened in those first moments behind closed doors.
“I have met him before, before he was the president a few times so it was a hug and [I] sat down and he was like, ‘Okay. So what’s going on? Why are we here?’ We started the meeting,” Kim shared. “I did take a second to say like wait a minute, we’re in the oval office.”
What the businesswoman also took time to do was deliver a joke that was totally about one of her family members.
“He said, ‘Why are you here?’ I said, ‘Really I’m here because I want to know why you kicked Khloe off The Apprentice.’ It was a laugh and it was funny and then we got into business,” Kim shared.
SEAN PAUL BRINGS LIFE TO THE LAWNS OF SANDALS
In a tribute to life and love, Jamaican superstar Sean Paul brought life to the lawns of Sandals Ochi Beach Resort last Saturday in an extravaganza dubbed Mad Love: The Sean Paul VIP Experience.
Only weeks away from releasing his new EP, Mad Love: The Prequel, Sean Paul teamed up with the popular hotel chain to treat guests to a thrilling one-hour performance.
Before the event, 10 Americans, 10 Jamaicans, and their guests were selected to experience this special concert in VIP style. They were treated to an exclusive meet and greet with the Grammy award-winning artiste after his stellar performance.
International and local guests staying at the hotel were afforded a night of Jamaican music and energy.
Sean Paul’s tour disc jock, DJ CopperShaun from the Coppershot Sound, started the night with high-energy sounds from several of Jamaica’s highly celebrated artistes.
Sean Paul’s appearance and performance pulled a large crowd of guests to the front lawn of Sandals Ochi, where they got in a taste of the extensive repertoire built by the artiste over his more-than-20-year career.
He opened the show with Baby Boy, Cheap Thrills, and other hits that elicited hearty cheers from the masses.
His set also featured crowd favourites such as Gimme The Light, Temperature and Give It Up To Me.
During his performance, he urged patrons to celebrate the gift of life and performed a special tribute for parents in the form of Rockabye, an award-winning hit with Clean Bandit and Anne-Marie.
Sean Paul called to attention the hard work, dedication and love of parents in a touching testament, sharing about the recent loss of his father and being a parent himself.
The energy remained high and constant throughout the hour, and at the end, the crowd was reluctant to let him go.
COURT ASKS FOR WRITTEN PERMISSIONS FOR GHETTO PRESIDENT’S CONCERTS
The High court in Kampala has asked for written submissions in a case in which Kyaddondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine sued the government for the cancellation of his music concerts last year.

Bobi Wine dragged the government to court, together with former Kampala Metropolitan Police commander Frank Mwesigwa after the cancellation of concerts he had organized weeks after taking oath as member of parliament in July last year.
Mwesigwa also accused Bobi Wine of failing to differentiate between Bobi Wine the musician and Robert Kyagulanyi the legislator.
“We have noticed that Bobi Wine has been turning into Hon. Kyagulanyi to make political statements at music shows, that is not what we agreed upon”, Mwesigwa said.

Kyagulanyi later dragged the government to court seeking a payment of Shs 300 million as compensation for lost income and his freedom which had been restricted through police actions.
The concerts had been organized in parts of Kampala, Mukono, Kasese, Kiryandongo and Kamuli.

THE EURO-UGANDA FILM FESTIVAL IS BACK.
The Euro-Uganda Film festival is back. Now in its 4th edition, the event will kick off this Sunday, June 10 and run until June 20 with screenings in multiple venues across Kampala including the National Theatre, Kamwokya playground, and Design Hub among others.
To be held under the theme, “celebrating cultural heritage through film,” it will have a line up of 21 diverse and acclaimed films including 11 European feature films and 10 Ugandan short films.
“This year, the Euro-Uganda Film festival is particularly relevant as in Europe we celebrate the European year of cultural heritage,” said Ms Sandra Paesen, Charge d’Affaire a.i at the EU Delegation to Uganda. “Cinema and audio-visual in general have been at the heart of European culture in the last century. The EU and its member states is therefore proud to share this year with Ugandan partners and take the opportunity to showcase Uganda culture through its cinema productions.”
This year’s programme will also feature a number of other exciting activities including panel discussions, cocktail parties and keynote speeches from seasoned industry experts.
According to the festival curator, Polly Kamukama, this year’s selection is diverse in terms of themes and style. “The films cover a range of topical issues that Ugandan audiences relate to such as family dysfunctionality, racism, gender relations and women empowerment among others.” He revealed.
He further noted that this year’s program will include community screenings aimed at taking cinema to wider audiences which will be enhanced with the addition of a VJ to help break language barrier.
All programs are open to the public free of charge.
PROMOTER AIDEN SHIFTS TO BUSHENYI
Self proclaimed Promota Aiden made headlines last week when he transferred his capital from Ntinda to Bushenyi town. He says that one major reason he changed workplace was to get more intouch with all western Uganda artists who are unable to make it from the city as much expenditure is always on their necks. He is currently located at Abuja Epic Studio on Bassajja street in Ishaka Business centre.
SHEEBAH PREMIERS MUMMY YO VIDEO
On Saturday, Sheebah Karungi premiered her much anticipated Mummy Yo video at Club Guvnor where she staged a performance that left the audience in awe.
She made her way onto the stage after midnight following performances from TNS’ Topic Kasente and Roden y Kabako. Her animated introduction was enough to prepare revelers for what was about to unfold as she was about to take matters to a whole different level.
Performing her hit songs like ‘Embeera zo’ on which she features Rwanda’s Bruce Melody while clad in a black coat with white hair, she occupied every inch of the stage song after song.
And then came the moment everyone was waiting for as Sheebah finally gave fans a sneak peek into the Mummy Yo video. She would then turn up the energy to do a verse before the club went dark for all the screens to play the newly Ciroc powered 4 minutes and 23 seconds video. Sheeba returns the favour by highlighting Ciroc in the song’s lyrics “Ciroc bottle gyolina yamaanyi”.
The video roles back the ages with a classic touch and its one to leave a lasting impression on fans if you are to by the Guvnor crowd`s reaction.
