The Kashongi county Member of Parliament, Genensio Tumuramye has run to court seeking for the nullification of his opponent’s victory in the January parliamentary elections
Tumuramye through his lawyers of Katembeko and Company Advocates has petitioned Mbarara high court seeking nullification of the winner Tayebwa Herbert who trounced him in the January 14th, 2021 general polls.
Tumuramye told www.mknewslink.com today that the election was marred with a number of irregularities ranging from ghost voters, chasing away of his agents from polling stations among others.
“Am running to court due to a number of issues among them my supporters being told not to vote that their names were not in voter registers,” Genensio said.
