KISORO DISTRICT BOSS VOWS NEVER TO APOLOGIZE TO MUSEVENI’S FAMILY OVER BIAS ALLEGATIONS

Kisoro district LCV Chairperson Abel Bizimana has cast doubt on Kabale tycoon George William Kanagizi’s appointment as presidential adviser on Kisoro affairs.

Recently, it was rumored that George William Kanagizi who is also the Kaharo sub county NRM chairperson was appointed the senior presidential adviser on Kisoro affairs.

Speaking to www.mknewslink.com reporter, Abel Bizimana said that if it’s true, president Museveni should have appointed someone from Kisoro district as a presidential advisor on Kisoro affairs than appointing a person from Kabale district.

He said that Kisoro has many people who have comprehensive knowledge about the district and can serve better as senior presidential advisors.

Abel Bizimana however welcomed the move to appoint a senior presidential advisor, a position which has never existed before.

He said that his Excellency president Museveni might have sensed something fishy in Kisoro district to appoint advisor on Kisoro affairs for the first time.

Before, the president had only presidential advisor on Kigezi affairs, a position which has been occupied by the late Canon Bitunguramye.

According to Abel Bizimana, Kisoro district is benefiting little on the national cake due to lack representation in the central government.

Meanwhile: Abel Bizimana vowed not to apologize after he alleged during a district council meeting on 29 March 2021 that the first family has bias on Kisoro district.

The councilor representing Nyundo subcounty Kosamu Kakyiga moved a motion compelling Abel Bizimana to apologize over the utterances made against first family.
