KISORO MAN DEFILES 14-YEAR-OLD GIRL

A 40-year-old mother is pleading to the government to find justice for her 14-year-old daughter who was recently defiled by a 42-year-old man in Busanza Sub County.
The mother to the defiled minor is identified as Nyirabibutsa Margaret while the accused man is Bitengo Amos, all residents of Kabaya village in Busanza Sub County.
According to Nyirabibutsa the incident happened on Sunday evening as her daughter and a friend were coming from a sweet potato garden.
She calls upon the government to support her in finding justice for her daughter because the act seriously injured her and much money have been spent on treatment.
She added that her daughter is a primary five pupil at Gitovu primary school in Mupaka town council.
She adds that at 14 years, her daughter was forcefully used for nearly two hours from 5:00pm to 7:00pm when her friend called for her rescue.
The Kabaya Village LC1 Chairman, Dominican Matemano said that Amos first filled the minor’s mouth with cloth and placed big stones on her arms to reduce the minors’ resistance.
He also noted that there is growing conflict between his residents and the mother to the accused who tried to defend her son by filing a case against people that were hunting for the accused.
Kisoro RDC, Hajji Shaifique Sekandi says that police are still hunting for the accused person so that he can be aligned before courts of law for justice to prevail.
He also noted that he has already informed the Kisoro police station OCID to priorities investigations into the defilement case than an assault case reported by the defiler’s mother.
Meanwhile, defilement cases have been rampant in Kisoro since the covid-19 recovery. Some defiled girls have given birth while others have continued with studies like the one that was defiled by a teacher at Kagera primary school in Mutorele.
The Kagera headmaster says that the victim of this vice at his school is currently in good health and she is now in p7 class.
