Police in Kisoro are holding a 26 year old man for allegedly murdering his 25 year old wife
The suspect has been identified as Buni Pendo and the deceased as Biringiro Gloria both residents of Soko parish, Muramba sub county Kisoro district.
According to neighbors, the two had conflicts that they agreed to permanently separate and Biringiro went back to her parents in Rushenyi village Soko parish, Muramba sub county Kisoro district where Pendo found her at the time of the murder.
Mean while the angry mob attacked the home of the suspect burnt down three houses including his, his grandmothers and mothers.
Elly Maate, the Kigezi region police spokesperson has confirmed that Scenes of crime have been visited and police investigations have commenced this morning.
