Dr. Wilson Kabwishwa the senior Medical superintendent at Kitagata said that the high number of people seeking services at the facility has exerted pressure on the facility leading to an acute shortage of drugs.

Handing over the 20 mattresses the Marketing Manager Eurofoam Clare Kemigisha said that due to a huge number of patients the facility admits daily they decided to give a helping to the hospital.
The hospital located in Kitagata Town council was constructed in 1970 and it has a capacity of 100 beds thus serves districts of Buhweju ,Rubirizi , Bushenyi,Mitooma,Sheema and parts of Rwampara and Ntungamo districts.
