Kampala International University Western campus students have resumed their campaign to promote hygiene in greater Bushenyi by cleaning Ishaka high Street in Ishaka town.
The students from faculty of Allied health sciences came at 9:00 am and started cleaning from Gaz petrol station to Centenary bank.
Robert Tumwebaze; the head of the Allied sciences faculty told www.mknewslink.com reporter that most of the patients admitted at KIU teaching hospital are diagnosed with diseases related to poor hygiene; a reason they have embarked on cleaning all towns in greater Bushenyi.

Juliet Ampaire; the KIU Western campus administrator earlier disclosed that the campaign will continue to other towns in greater Bushenyi.
She added that some students will go to towns of Kitagata,Mitooma,Rwentuuha in the campaign to promote hygiene as their social responsibility.
This is a monthly activity that rotates in faculties at KIU western campus. The exercise began with the faculty of education last year.
