Over 100 Nurses at Kampala International University Teaching Hospital in Ishaka town Bushenyi Ishaka Municipality have threatened to stop working if they are not paid their full salaries for the past five months.
Nurses who talked to www.mknewslink.com revealed that most of them have not received their salaries since April adding that even those who were paid received half of their payments.
They added that they have waited for a communication from concerned authorities but in vain noting that it is for this reason that they have decided to strike.
The angry nurses vowed to stay at the reception entrance until their matter is fully handled.
Meanwhile, the Human Resource manager has advised the angry staff to write down their issues so that she forwards them to the concerned office.
