KIU WESTERN CAMPUS ROTARACT CLUB CHARTERED

Kampala international university Rotaract club was officially chartered yesterday evening with a function of installing its first ever president, Rotaractor Ivan Bomboka.
“One of the key strength of Rotary that we will continue to leverage as we deliver services to our community, is diversity in skill sets and vocation across our members many of whom are successful business leaders and professionals” Baker Owomugisha said
The function of chartering of Kampala International University Western campus Rotaract club took place at Crane Resort Hotel in Ishaka.
Baker, the Rotary club of Bushenyi president thanked Rotarians of Bushenyi who sacrificed everything to ensure that Rotaract club is formed at KIU Western campus.
Prof. Patrick Kyamanywa, the Deputy Vice Chancellor of Kampala International University Western Campus, who attended the occasion, encouraged Rotaractors to exhibit integrity in and out of university, serve above self, be fair to others and the Rotaract spirit should be reflected on them.
He further encouraged the Rotaractors to recruit more members and have 100 Rotaractors at the end of this year 2018.
Rotaractor Ivan Bomboka who was sworn in as the president of the Rotaract club of Kampala International University pledged to work hard with his cabinet for the progress of the club.
The Guest of Honour: Assistant Governor. Rtn PHF Dennis Mugarura told Kampala International University Rotaractors that Rotary club is a platform for meeting and networking with new people as well as grooming better leaders.
The charter permits Rotaractors from Kampala International University to be nationally and internationally recognized as active club of Rotary.
