KIZZA BESIGYE CHALLENGES UGANDANS TO CHANGE THEIR MEDICAL SEEKING HABITS

Former presidential candidate Dr Kizza Besigye has called for change of health and medical seeking habits in Ugandans especially on screening for cancer to reduce fatalities caused by the increasing infections.
Besigye was speaking at a service to bid farewell to the Kabale FDC party Defense Wilbrode Ndyanabangyi alias Mucoori , at his ancestral home located in Rushambya village Kirigime ward southern division Kabale municipality,
Dr Kiiza Besigye Kifefe castigated government upon failure to invest in health care and service delivery.
He added that he has always travelled to send off cancer victims and in most cases it’s because they get to know their status when it is late due to fact that Uganda doesn’t have enough equipment to help in screening the scourge when it’s in early stages.
He asked the government to put in place stringent measures on Corona virus
He eulogized the late Mucoori as a trust worthy man and encouraged mourners to start serving God because they will receive the same gifts as those who started earlier.
Dr. Olivia Kiconco , the first born narratedof how the late Mucoori started falling sick ten years ago and was first diagnosed with heart disease which later healed after treatment before he was diagnosed with gall bladder, the illness he has battled for three years.
The late Ndyanabanji Wilbrode alias as Mucoori is survived by a wife and five children and ten grand children.
He died at the age of 64 years and he was laid to rest at his ancestral home in Rushambya cell, southern division Kabale Municipality.
