KYAPS CELEBRATES 25 YEARS IN STYLE, AWARDS BEST CLIENTS, FOUNDERS

Kyamuhunga people’s SACCO yesterday celebrated its silver jubilee in style with a huge attendance and many dignitaries
KYAPS started 1998 by the late Fr. Paulino Tomaino to help farmers generate income to educate their children and also live a decent life.
The first staff of KYAPS were Harriet Muhebwa as the manager and Henry Bamwiine head of loans. Other board members who followed Fr. Tomaino were Can. Yorokam Batuuna, Fr. Felix Tumuhaise, Fr. Dido Nshenkanimanya, currently Paul Turyamureeba Kahigi who has steared the SACCO to have many branches.
The general manager Johnbosco Atwijukire hailed members, staff and board for giving him enabling environment to exercise his skills to stir the Sacco further.
The woman Member of parliament Annet Katusiime Mugisha advised members of the SACCO to work hard and make it grow further.
The RDC Robert Atuhairwe advised members of the SACCO to borrow loans and pay back, buy more shares and woo other people to open accounts as their SACCO continues to flourish.
He also advised people of Bushenyi to avoid domestic violence which has caused killings over land, conflict between man and woman.
