KYIBANZANGA ADVISES RWENZURURU KINGDOM ON RECOVERING PEACE

Christopher Taban Bwambale Kibanzanga has advised the Obusinga Bwa Rwenzururu to take a leaf from the Obudingia Bwa Bwamba in the fight for peace in the Rwenzori region.
He sounded this during a memorial service of his late mother Christine Biira Mukirania which was held at his home in Nyamirangara Village, Muhokya sub-county in Kasese district on heavy security both police and Uganda Peoples Defense Force.
Christine Biira Mukirania died of diabetes on the 11th of june 2019 at Kilembe Mines hospital in Kasese municipality, Kasese district.
While speaking at the function Kibanzanga Christopher Bwambale Taban expressed that unless they take the example of the Budingia Bwa Bwamba, they are finished.
In an interview with Kibanzanga Christopher, he narrated that, he owes no one an apology for the decision he made of burying the Queen mother in Bundibugyo for he had given the royal family more than grace period but could not decide the rightful burial ground.
Kibanzanga still talking with www.mknewslink.com, he observed that there is no conflict between him and his family; rather reconciliation should be psychological instead of sitting on a round table to discuss.
Speaking to Baluku Godfrey Kabyanga the mayor Kasese municipality who is also the Royal family Uncle believes that the biggest problem with the Rwenzururu kingdom is the political leaders operating within, saying that politicians twist culture to suit their interests.
Kabyanga added that burying in Kasese was the right place where the mother had said she should be buried but it changed simply because of the fact that the Kingdom opted that the land where the queen mother would be buried (Kibanzanga’s land) be given to the King and not the kingdom which he objected.
He again said that misunderstandings in the royal family leave the kingdom in a quagmire despite all the children claim to be of a special mother meaning that they are special children.
He therefore called upon special children born by a special mother to deal with issues in a special way.
However earlier last week an audio clip of the King of the Bakonzo Charles Wesley Mumbere Iremangoma leaked and in the clip he said, there is no ceremony concerning the royal family that is valid without the presence of the King. In here he meant that whatever was done since the death of the queen mother is null and void.
Still in the audio the King added that it should come to everyone to know that the Queen mother is not yet buried rather she is hidden.
He added that when he comes back, they will search for the whereabouts of the mother, find her and she will be decently buried after an announcement which will be done by the high ranking officers in the Rwenzururu kingdom.
