Residents of Nyabikyerere Cell in central ward Bushenyi Ishaka Municipality were on 1st Dec.2019 surprised to see a team of lawyers together with the Bushenyi court chief magistrate Jane Mugara hold court proceeding in their village.
This team had come for an on ground visit on the small piece of road measuring about 10 by 88 feats that is all the cause of wrangles between neirbhours David Asiimwe and Muramuzi.
It is alleged that on 7th Jan.2018, David Asiimwe together with his mother Winfred kiiza closed the way in question due to some misunderstanding with Muramuzi the neighbor intending to block him from using it.
However, the Chief magistrate did not give her final ruling into the matter hence adjourning case till next year 5th Jan.2020 for final Judgment.
Muramuzi the Complainant told journalists that this road was created in 1967 and it was closed by his neighbors last year on 7th Jan.2019 which forced him to run to the authorities.
He optimistically said that the court will do its role as they have promised and solve the controversial matter.
Speaking to our reporter, Petero Mpamizo one of the residents appealed to people to always live in harmony with neighbors and stop the habit of jealousy.
When our reporter tried to talk to the defendants who are Muramuzi’s neighbors refused to say anything on grounds that they are not ready.
