The newly elected village chairpersons have been urged to serve their electorates equally despite their different political parties.
The appeal was made by Buyanja sub- county LCIII chairperson Agaba Emmy Rubondo while speaking at official stamps handover ceremony which took place at the sub- county headquarters in Buyanja sub- county Rukungiri district.
Rubondo said that a leader is meant to serve and work for all saying that this should be a lesson to those with a habit of serving one side yet they voted by all.
He further urged them to handle the new stamps given to them carefully, keep them away and safely from their family members, be careful before stamping on any document saying some have been arrested due to stamp mishandling.
