LET PARENTS BEGIN SIGNING COMMITMENT AGREEMENTS FOR DEVT FUNDS—- NTUNGAMO RDC

The RDC Ntungamo district George Bakunda has expressed concern over the parents failure to development funds in the government aided schools
He noted that there is a need for the introduction of commitment agreements in these schools such that they can always remind parents of their responsibilities since they will be the ones who will have passed these resolutions
Bakunda made the remarks on Friday 26th April 2019 while addressing a delegation of political, civic leaders, head teachers from Ndagwe sub county Lwengo District and parents of Mujwa primary school in Butare parish Ruhaama county Ntungamo district.
He condemned the increasing cases of sending back home pupils to collect such funds yet the parents are the ones who agreed and passed resolutions when the children were not there.
Bakunda later launched architectural plan for the construction of classroom block and staff quarters.
The Ntungamo District inspector of schools Fred Bahati tasked schools and parents to follow the educational policies when the passing resolutions concerning development fund.
Mujwa Primary school is a Roman Catholic founded school started in 1957 and taken over by the government in 1975 and has been performing well since its inception.
Last year got 05 in division one, 26 second, 09 third and 02 fourth grade.
