Police in Masindi district are investigating circumstance under which a lifeless of a man was dumped by unknown people at Masindi General Hospital gate today morning at 4am.
According to the Albertine Region Police Spokesperson ASP Julius Allan Hakiza, the deceased who sustained injuries is suspected to have been murdered before being wrapped into an old a blue tar plain and dumped at the hospital gate.
He explained that the hospital askari who was patrolling the hospital premises was shocked after finding the old blue tar plain at the gate, containing lifeless body which forced him to alert Dr. Flex Twinomugisha the Masindi General Hospital superintendent.
“The hospital superintendent later informed police who rushed to the scene. The body is suspected to have been dumped in the morning at 4am, however, police are still investigating on the matter, and the lifeless body is still lying at Masindi hospital mortuary,” the police PRO said.
