M7 VS SON MUHOOZI: MINISTER MUHWEZI,CAPT. BASHAIJA,LT.COL. MWESIGYE ENDORSE MUSEVENI FOR 2026 ELECTION BID.

The cabinet minister for security Maj.Gen.Jim Muhwezi ,Brig .Gen.Paul Muhanguzi the deputy Second Division Commander and Capt. David Bashaija the Director Ngabo Academy and Lt.Col .James Mwesigye the Resident City Commissioner Mbarara were among the dignitaries that signed a portrait endorsing President Yoweri Museveni to stand for presidency in 2026.
The 1986 guerilla war hero’s were on Tuesday attending the launch of Veterans Cooperation and sector Development Foundation an umbrella that unites all military veterans in South west Uganda,at Kamukuzi hill in Mbarara city.
The proposal to endorse president Yoweri Museveni for another term was moved by Capt. David Bashaija the chairman Veterans Cooperation and Sector Development Foundation.
“Uganda is lucky that we got a visionary leader who had made this country stabilize.I don’t think we can get any other leader that can foster good leadership like Museveni”Capt .Bashaija explained.
Lt.col. James Mwesigye the Resident City Commissioner Mbarara argued people to stop mixing leadership with securing the country.He revealed that there is a line-up of things that liberators agreed on for the betterment of Uganda.
Mwesigye mentioned that some people have started to become stumbling blocks.
“Those eying for the top in this country should take a chill pill and learn from the visionary leader Museveni,you have excitement that you want to become president ,how?Lt.Col .Mwesigye asked.
In his submission,Maj.Gen.Jim Muhwezi the cabinet minister for security said when the National Resistance Army (NRA) launched the guerilla war,they did not risk their lives for top jobs in government but rather had Patriotic hearts.
“President Yoweri Museveni’s track record is evident enough to show that he is still the best striker with visionary leadership for the Uganda and has our interests at heart.This is therefore why he is endorsed to lead our party and the country over and over again”minister Muhwezi explained.
However , Minister Muhwezi asked military veterans to organize themselves in groups if they are to benefit from government programs.
Joseph Kiiza the coordinator of media in the office of the National Chairman appreciated Veterans move to endorse Museveni for another and therefore asked all the regions in the country to join the cause.
