‘MAKE BUSHENYI GREAT AGAIN’ CELEBRATES ONE YEAR

The pressure group codenamed “Make Bushenyi Great Again” which started last year in a move to advocate for a functional district service commission celebrated a year in existence yesterday at Tuzza hotel in Bushenyi town.
At the ceremony, the group chairman; Pison Mugizi reminded members of the struggles they have gone through to make Bushenyi district great again. He said that the group went through many struggles as the major one was to advocate for a district service commission that led them to courts of law. He thanked members for their commitment towards that cause because the fruits are now visible.
Kahiigi proposed a move to reclaim Nyakabirizi hospital, and Nyamiko Health Centre IV, which are not operating at all. They are also planning to advocate for a district hospital for Bushenyi since Kitagata hospital now falls under Sheema district.
They want Igara East to have a Health Centre IV with full facilities like any other constituencies.
