MAKERERE UNIVERSITY VC NAWANGWE ADVISES FARMERS ON COMPREHENSIVE TRAINING

The vice chancellor for Makerere University Barnabas Nawangwe has asked farmers to always go for comprehensive training facility for plants and animals.
He advised that such trainings will help them to get experience, skills and knowledge as one way of transforming the economy and transforming regularly in Uganda.
He sounded this while visiting the Excel Hort consult Agribusiness incubator in Biharwe division Mbarara city north.
Nawangwe also appeal to all Ugandans to involve in agriculture is the backbone of Uganda which gives it a competitive advantage over many countries.
In his remarks the head of natural resource and climate smart agriculture at Excel Hort consult Agribusiness incubator Robert Sabimaana noted that they faced many challenges such as pesticides, climate change, market, and bad quality among others.
