MAN ARRESTED FOR DEFILING DAUGHTER IN IBANDA

Police in Ibanda district have arrested a man for allegedly defiling his biological daughter.
Police has identified the suspect as Charles Taremwa aged 48 years a resident of Kyaruhimbi cell, in Bufunda division,Ibanda municipality.
It is alleged that Taremwa defiled his 15 year old daughter a primary seven pupil at Bufunda primary school and threatened to kill her if she made noise.
According to her mother Ms. Jadras Taremwa, this is the second time her husband has defiled his two biological daughters in a period of seven years.
“My husband was arrested by police and sent on remand at Kakiika Government prison in Mbarara district where he spent seven years. He was released in April this year on court bail. We have eight children, but with such behavior our marriage has been torn apart and I am living with my parents in Bushenyi district, Ms. Taremwa said in tears.
She added that her daughter who was defiled is currently getting treatment at Ruhoko health center 1V.
One of the sons of Taremwa calls upon the government to send his father to Luzira prison on life imprisonment because he behaves like a beast and has ashamed his family.
Taremwas brothers told www.mknewslink.com that he smokes marijuana as well as opium.
The District Police Commander, Ibanda, Ms. Molly Angomoku confirmed that Charles Taremwa was arrested and will be produced in court of laws to answer the charges slapped against him.
