MAN ASSAULTED TO DEATH IN RUKIGA

Police in Rukiga district are investigating the alleged murder of a 30 year Old man.

The Kigezi regional police Mouthpiece Elly Maate said that they  received a complaint from Mari Dinavance about the alleged murder of Davis Niwagaba 30, a resident of Bizi cell, Kitojo parish, Rwamucucu sub county Rukiga district.

It’s allegedly that the deceased was assaulted on the 1^st January 2020 from Nyakarambi Trading center by Hector of Kabuchu and Bintu Mbabazi of kafunjo cell Rwamucucu.

Unfortunately, the assault was not reported anywhere until his death from Nyakarambi Health Center II, on the 08^th January 2020 in the evening hours.

Maate said that inquiries were immediately initiated, scene visited, Postmortem done.

Other inquiries are at hand and efforts to apprehend the suspect are being made.
