MAN DIES WHILE OPERATING VEHICLE IN MASINDI

MASINDI:

Police in Masindi district are investigating circumstances surrounding the death of a man who died operating a vehicle.

The deceased has been identified as Constantine Wandera, a resident of Byebega village Kitamba Parish Bwijanga Sub County Bujenje Constituency in Masindi district.

Wandera died on Saturday afternoon operating the vehicle at St. Joseph Secondary School Kikingura in Masindi district.

According to James Mudede, the Bwijanga LC3 Chairperson who didn’t disclose the vehicle’s number plate said that Wandera was offloading firewood from the tipper lorry before the incident.

’As if the vehicle’s hydraulic pump had mechanical problems and fell on him in the process of repairing it. He died on the spot,’’ he said.
