MAN HANGS HIMSELF OVER ACCUMULATED DEBTS IN KABALE

Residents of Rushaki in Kabale Municipality were yesterday shocked after they woke to one of their own hanging dead in a rope.

The deceased Gilbert Byaruhanga 35 years old was the defense secretary for Ruhita cell Rushaki Kabale municipality.

According to sources, the late Byaruhanga locked himself inside his house and used an electric cable to hang himself in the bathroom.

Gilbert was reportedly battling stress due to loans accumulated from an accident in which his car knocked two people and he was forced to compensate families of the victims. 

The car was sold by police after he failed to raise the money for compensation.
