MAN HELD AT IBANDA CPS FOR CHOPPING OFF SON’S HEAD AFTER TAKING MARIJUANA

Police in Ibanda district have blamed parents for increased cases of murder which come after family misunderstanding.
Boaz Atukwase the Ibanda CPS OC CID noted that some parents lie idle using Covid-19 as their clumsy excuse while they spend most of their time; day and night boozing in bars
He told www.mknewslink.com that some parents have resorted to drug abuse which causes them undesirable acts.
He cited out an incident in which Venensio Bainomugisha a 45year old man from Rushango Nyamarebe Sub County in Ibanda district allegedly chopped off his 13 year old son’s head after smoking opium (marijuana).
Speaking to www.mknewslink.com the LC 1 chairperson of Nyabigoye cell in Nyamarebe sub county, Geoffry Tabaro Kaanuuma confirmed that parents drink crude Waragi and smoke marijuana up to late at night only to go back home and behave like wounded lions.
Meanwhile, Ibanda central police have confirmed that Venensio Bainomugisha has been transferred from Rushanga police and is being kept in police cells pending to appear in court to answer to murder charges against him.
