MAN SENTENCED FOR DEFILING DAUGHTER

High court in mbarara has sentenced 35 year old man to 20 years in jail for defiling his daughter.
Isaiah Tumwine 35 a resident of Kyamugasha cell, Kinoni subcounty Rwampara mbarara district on 21st June 2015 defiled her 4 year old biological daughter after her step mother had left home for a visit.
A neighbor who heard the girl crying for help in the house is said to have made an alarm that attracted other people who arrested Isaiah before taking him to police.
While reading out his judgment, Matovu said the punishement of 20 years will serve as a deterrent measure to parents who instead of taking care of their children turn against them
