MAN STABS COLLEAGUE TO DEATH FOR HAVING AFFAIR WITH HIS WIFE

Police in Kisoro district are hunting for a 27 year old man who is on run after he allegedly killed his colleague accusing him of having an affair with his wife.
The suspect Edson Sunday is alleged to have stabbed to death his colleague Hamu Twinamatsiko after they had a disagreement while at Rugendabare trading centre Rutaka parish, Kirundo sub county in Kisoro district, .
It is alleged that the disagreement emanated from Twinamatsiko whom the suspect have been accusing of having an affair with his wife.
According to Elly Mate the Kigezi region police spokesperson, the suspect took off immediately but police visited the scene, did a postmortem and recorded statements from relevant witnesses.
Mate said that they are however hunting for the suspect to answer to murder charges as inquires continue.
