MASAKA RESIDENT JUDGE CAUTIONS RYAKASINGA CHE STUDENTS AGAINST STRIKES.

The Masaka High court resident judge Justice Lawrence Tweyanze has cautioned student leaders and students against engaging in strikes arguing that strikes affect their performance.
He was addressing students at Ryakasinga Center for Higher Education (CHE) in Sheema District where he is an Alumni
This comes a few weeks after students at the school staged a strike.
Justice Tweyanze presided over the swearing-in of the new prefectorial body and charged the new student leaders to be ethical, accountable, transparent as they execute their roles.
Rev. Karuhanga Gordon, who led prayers at the function, thanked the school management for keeping the school shining and he gave hope to the students from poor backgrounds saying their destiny doesn’t rely on family background.
The principal of the school Mr Abel Rushegyera, while addressing the school’s alumni thanked them for supporting the school’s sports complex project that was launched the function that also marked the alumni’s first re-union.
